October 2010!

Well October has been a very busy month for us. Birthdays, Pumpkins, snow, Colorado, Halloween, and a new park opening up near us. Kayla my almost baby sister (2nd to youngest) turned 18!!! 18.... I can't believe it!!!! Jon and I went to Colorado all expenses paid for a night for a firm retreat. My work paid for out plane tickets, food, room at a very nice ski resort, and my boss picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. It was only 1 night but hey it was a nice mini vacation for us. It also snowed for the first time this season already on Kayla's b-day (she wasn't happy). Didn't snow much here but the mountains were covered. We have also all been sick. The kids and I are starting to get over it but now Jon is getting it. Guess thats what happens when you have 3 kids in the house, they bring everything home lol. We also went to the pumpkin patch, and carved the pumpkins. We went trick-or-treating on Saturday this year cause since 75% of the population here is LDS no one trick-or-treats on Sunday. It poured and poured rain. We did get lucky right after a huge hail storm it stopped long enough for us to go out and get some candy. Here are some pictures from October!! Enjoy!!!
